Group ride starting at Stage 21 in Laguna Woods. We’ll head towards Cook’s Corner, a popular pit stop for cyclists. From there, we’ll descend through Live Oak Canyon, known for its scenic beauty, and then take on the Corkscrew climb. We’ll regroup on Plano Trabuco before riding through Coto de Caza.
Next, we’ll tackle the climb out on Oso Parkway and ride onto Antonio Parkway, enjoying the elevated views. Afterward, we’ll go up and over La Pata Avenue South, which offers spectacular vistas, and head to San Clemente. Finally, we’ll make our way back to Stage 21 in Laguna Woods to complete the ride. Stage 21 Start – #6 Cooks Corner/Live Oak/Coto de Caza/La Pata South/San Clemente
Short Route Option:
Starting at Stage 21 Cyclery, ride up to Cook’s Corner, then continue up Cook’s Corner and down through Live Oak. Regroup on Plano Trabuco before heading through Coto de Caza. Climb out on Oso Parkway. Split from the group at Antonio and continue down Oso to Marguerite Parkway. Take Marguerite to La Paz and make a left, then head to Muirlands and make a right. Continue down to Los Alisos and return to Stage 21 Cyclery.
